CONGRATS TO THE 2025 GSHFOUNDATION SCHOLARS!

Anna E. Mercer
"I am so blessed and thankful to have received this scholarship! As a newly graduated speech-language pathologist from the University of Georgia, I am so excited to share the encouragement and support I have received from my family throughout my whole life and to use the knowledge I gained from my classes and the wisdom I have gained from my relationships with those in the Georgia Speech Language Hearing Foundation to best serve my students. It is so important to learn from and work with others who have different experiences and perspectives than you do. The GSHFoundation has aided me in obtaining my dream of being a school SLP not only financially, but also through their encouragement and support. Go DAWGS!!!"

"I am deeply grateful for the support this scholarship has provided. It has reduced the financial challenges of graduate school while giving me the freedom to pursue professional opportunities such as FEES certification, attending the ASHA Convention, and contributing to published research. These opportunities are bringing me closer to my goal of becoming a medical speech-language pathologist. To future students, I encourage you to embrace every opportunity as well as the unknowns that come with graduate school. In my own experience, both have led to meaningful success and growth. It is equally important to appreciate the support that makes these opportunities possible, as it often becomes the foundation for reaching your goals."
