Community Impact Grants

CONGRATS TO OUR PAST GRANT WINNERS!

About the GSHFoundation Community Impact Grants
​

These grants will be awarded to experts in the field of speech-language pathology and audiology who, through innovation and application, promote community engagement of students and professional staff and facilitate high social impact to individuals with speech, language, cognitive, swallowing, or hearing disorders.

​

Each recipient will receive a grant between $500 and $2,000 for use during the awarded academic school year. Support from the GSHFoundation annual fund provides the funding for these grants. The funds must be used during the grant specified period. 

​

The recipients will receive recognition for their grant awards during the Presidential Reception at the GSHA Annual Convention held in March each year.

​

Qualifications

 

  • Applicant must be a resident of Georgia

  • Applicant must be a current member of the Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association

  • Member applicants from all settings are welcome

  • Proposed project must have goals related to serving individuals with communication disorders in their local communities

Required Materials
​
The following items are required to complete the application process:
  • Application - must be completed using this link below.

  • Letter of support from head of the department or community partner. Letter must be submitted below.

  • Final Report must be submitted by two weeks after the end of the grant project or grant period. The report must provide a summary of the project results and benefits. Any tangible products must be submitted as well.  Any unused money should be returned to the GSHFoundation.

First set of grant checks set to recipients: January 30
